Water Quality Exploration and Beach Clean-up at the Watershed Resource Center
Please join Explore Ecology this Sunday at the Watershed Resource Center at Arroyo Burro Beach for a fun and educational day of water quality exploration!
The Watershed Resource Center (WRC) is a community education center located at Arroyo Burro Beach; it’s the blue building next to the park and the Boathouse Restaurant! The WRC is open every 2nd Sunday of the month for the public to explore and learn more about Santa Barbara’s Water and Watersheds; stop in and participate in the fun activities that we will have set up for you and your family. Have a question about our local water or our unique Santa Barbara Watersheds or Creeks? Come in and chat with our knowledgeable staff and learn more about our local environment and how your actions can have a major effect on the water around us!
Feel like taking a beach walk with your friends and/or family? Might as well pick up some trash on your way! Bring a bucket and gloves or just check in with us and we will have all the necessary supplies for you and your family to set out for a beach clean-up beginning at Noon.
We look forward to seeing you this Sunday!
