The Beach Needs You On Coastal Cleanup Day
Join us this Saturday, September 17, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm for Coastal Cleanup Day. Volunteers of all ages are needed to ensure that Santa Barbara County beaches and creeks stay beautiful! When you volunteer for Coastal Cleanup Day (CCD), you’re not only cleaning the beach, you’re also joining the largest volunteer effort in California. Be part of the solution this Saturday and join us at your favorite beach.
Volunteers can enter a contest to win two tickets to Norah Jones at the Santa Barbara County Bowl if they download the Clean Swell App on their phones before CCD. See details above.
Bring your own cleanup supplies to help make this a waste-free event. Reusable buckets are especially great for beach cleanups. If you don’t have supplies, don’t worry, we have a lot!
Take photos and win prizes in our Countywide Photo Contest!
